Phoebe in the Snow

This is Phoebe's third winter already, and it will no doubt be her mildest yet. I'm not sure if she has any memories of the first two, so I don't think her being Siberian will have any bearing on how she likes winter. We had our first good snowfall about two weeks ago, and got 8 solid inches, so we bundled her up and out we went. Our plowing services didn't make it by us until 1 a.m., so the driveway was still covered as we walked out. Phoebe's first reaction was to giggle, as she plodded through thigh deep snow. She did well at first with the plodding, until she planted one foot too wide and got into a split position from which she could not recover. This changed her attitude really quickly, but Mom came to the rescue and showed Phoebe how to make a snow angel. We're also told that she loves sledding down the very small hill at day care.
