Phoebe, Phashionista

It took us a little while to get out of the house Thursday morning, as Phoebe was pretty insistent about wearing her lovely rainboots. As you can imagine, they clashed with the outfit she had on. This was partially my fault – an impulse purchase at Target, without a thought about what she might wear them with. I’m not sure they would go with anything. At any rate, I did finally enforce my will – the boots are a bit too big, and they fall off constantly when she wears them, so I couldn’t really afford to give any ground that day. This was not our only fashion statement this week, and as Phoebe asserts herself more and more these days, I’m sure they’ll continue.
